Abstract:China's adoption of incentive mechanism aimed at GDP growth is an important factor affecting the open independent innovation of manufacturing industry. This paper mainly selects the data in China Statistical Yearbook and China economic information network (CEINET) statistical database from 2007 to 2018 to carry out the grey correlation analysis on the open innovation mode of science and technology in the manufacturing industry of China and various relevant indicators. The research shows that the regional economic growth is the main factor affecting the open innovation rate of manufacturing industry, and the improvement of urbanization rate also has an important impact on promoting open innovation of science and technology in the manufacturing industry, and the increase of population, price change, industrial structure adjustment and technological progress all have a positive correlation impact on the improvement of the open innovation efficiency of science and technology in manufacturing industry. Finally, some suggestions are put forward as to further expand the openness of scientific and technological innovation in manufacturing industry, to improve the efficiency of resource allocation and open innovation, increase the strength of independent research and development, strengthen digestion and absorption of external technology, and improve the utilization rate of new technology, so as to promote the efficiency of scientific and technological innovation in manufacturing enterprises in China.
