Its knowledge representation,reasoning mechanism, semantic network and frame structure are described in detail. Fimally,the author compares the object-oriented knowledge representation method with the semantic network and frame structure.

A Look into Sino-African Joint Studies on Biodiversity

The β-relaxation in metallic glasses

Focusing on metallic glasses as model systems, we review the features and mechanisms of the β-relaxations,which are intrinsic and universal to supercooled liquids and glasses, and demonstrate their importance in understanding many crucial unresolved issues in glassy physics and materials science, including glass transition phenomena, mechanical properties, shear-banding dynamics and deformation mechanisms,difusion and the breakdown of the Stokes–Einstein relation as well as crystallization and stability of glasses.We illustrate that it is an atractive prospect to incorporate these insights into the design of new glassy materials with extraordinary properties. We also outline important questions regarding the nature ofβ-relaxations and highlight some emerging research directions in this still-evolving ield.

为实现数字矿山建设中对实时监控和自动控制的较高要求,提出将主动实时数据库应用到数字矿山系统中,这样便可以实现系统的主动反应能力。在介绍了主动实时数据库的概念和关键技术的基础上分析了数字矿山的系统构成,构造了数字矿山系统中主动实时数据库系统模型,提出了在数字矿山系统中通过在原有系统上进行改造等有效途径来实现主动实时数据库系统,并在项目实践中得到较好的应用。     

基于X3D三维模型对象的数据库应用

对象模型是软件系统分析结果中的一部分,数据库设计是系统设计的一个重要步骤。描述了以对象模型为依据借助X3D工具进行三维模型对象的一种方法。在进行数据库设计的过程中,通过将对象、对象的成员以及对象间关系映射到实体、实体的属性以及实体间关系的方式进行了数据库设计,实现了系统分析与数据库设计在面向对象体系上的一致。

面向对象及分层软件开发方法在订单管理系统中的应用

由于人为因素,订单出错是常有的事。采用计算机订单管理系统,能充分发挥计算机精准的特性及擅长处理大数据量的能力,保证处理过程的正确性。该系统基于B/S架构,使用面向对象C#语言和.net框架开发,并充分利用了.net的OO特性,结合MS SQL SERVER,在开发过程中运用多层结构的设计思想（表现层、业务逻辑层、数据访问层）,是一个高内聚、低耦合的MIS系统,能有效的帮助企业实施企业信息化管理,节约运营成本。     

空间数据库构建研究

分布式数据库的开发和利用是图书馆信息资源建设和读者服务的核心内容,其安全性已成为当前图书馆界关注的热点问题。文章分析了分布式数据库安全需求;提出了安全机制分层模型;最后,设计了一种四层体系结构的分布式数据库系统,解决了传统三层体系结构在安全性上存在的不足。     

多媒体数据库模型及其实现途径之比较研究

本文首先介绍了数据模型的概念和分类，分析了多媒体数据模型的功能特点及建模过程，比较，评价了多媒体数据库三种主要的数据模型的特点，优势和不足，论述了它们的实现途径（即以关键模型为基础进行多媒体扩充，采用面向对象匠多媒体数据库以及超媒体数据库）。经过研究，指出虽然目前在实际应用中以扩展关系数据库占多数，但是由于多媒体中非结构化信息的特点和关系数据库固有的缺陷，更适于采用面向对象和超媒体的数据模型。
