电大系统网上教学平台建设的思考

网上教学平台是开展现代远程教育的支撑核心。本文根据地理位置及经济发达状况的不同，采用分层随机抽样方式，抽取24家有代表性的省市级电大和中央电大的网上教学平台为样本，以网上课程开发、网上教学支持、网上教学管理三大功能和其20项子功能为分析框架，对电大系统教学平台的功能结构进行分析，进而探讨电大系统网上教学平台存在的问题和建设的原则。

网上教学不仅仅是将教学材料在网上发布 ,更多的是学生与教师之间、学生与学生之间的充分沟通与交流 ,由于远程教学教师与学生之间在空间上的分离 ,这种沟通与交流就显得尤为重要 ,另外 ,传统教学过程中一些保证教学质量的关键环节 ,如作业、考试、图书馆、笔记记录等 ,都应该能够在网上得到很好的支持。所有的沟通与交流以及关键教学环节的支持 ,都需要一些专用的工具来支持 ,而现有Internet技术并没有提供这些工具 ,因此需要开发一套网上远程教学支持平台 ,为教师在网上实施教学提供全面支持 ,也使得网上教学从简单的教学信息发布变成一个充满交互与交流的虚拟学习社区。远程教学支撑平台应该是建立在通用的Internet/Intranet基础之上的 ,专门为基于双向多媒体通信网络的远程教学而提供全面服务的软件系统 ,它应该具有资源管理、网络课程开发、网络教学、网络教务管理四个方面的功能和支持。现在市场上的许多产品都是从这四方面的某一方面发展起来的 ,经过多年的积累和扩展成为可以支持WEB上课程开发、教学内容传递和管理的综合平台。在此 ,我们介绍几种典型远程教学支撑平台 ,以资网上教学支撑平台选择和开发的参考     

开放大学的网上教学:亚洲地区七国九地的调查报告

日新月异的信息交流技术促进了网上教学大规模的飞速发展。然而,文献研究表明,关于亚洲地区开放大学网上教学的比较研究非常缺乏。为了了解亚洲地区开放大学网上教学的现状和最新发展,分析不同开放大学网上教学的特点,在亚洲地区进行大规模的网上教学的比较研究就显得十分迫切。本研究首次采用网上问卷的调查方法,问卷包括中文简体字、中文繁体字、英文、韩文四个版本,邀请了亚洲地区7个国家9个地区的10所开放大学参与合作研究,调查了1658名不同学科的网上学习者和90名从事网上教学的教师。本文从比较的角度汇报了11个方面的研究结果:采用网上教学的目的;网上教学的平台及功能;网上课程的数量;网上教学传递的方式;网上教学的场所;网上教学的优势;网上教学的不足;网上学习的困难;学习者喜爱的教学支持手段;学习者喜爱的网上教学平台成分;学习者喜爱的网上互动和管理方式。最后,作者从研究方法、网上教学平台、网上教学功能、网上教学的作用、教学媒体运用、技术和教学设计、网上学习支持、资源开发等方面,对发展和改进网上教学提出了策略性的建议。我们期望本研究能够帮助远程教育工作者了解亚洲地区开放大学网上教学的现状和特征,增进网上教学的知识,促进网上教学的合作,改进网上教学的实践。
