老年群体的ICT使用问题是老龄化、数字化、现代化交叠推进的产物,考察和反思媒体如何认知和建构老年群体的ICT使用议题,对当下理解老年群体的数字化生存具有重要意义。研究采用批评性隐喻分析法对老年群体ICT使用报道进行分析,发现媒体通过不同类型的隐喻建构了老年群体的数字弱者形象和ICT技术迷思,从而使该议题获得了话语上的合法性。隐喻背后的话语建构逻辑反映了当下社会、政治、文化中本质主义老年观和积极老龄观的矛盾,也体现出明显的单向度技术进步主义观念,以及平等主义关怀和孝道文化下的数字治理观。研究意在通过上述分析反思老年群体的ICT使用问题,从而更好地践行积极老龄化理念。  相似文献

网络舆论常常采用价值导向的相关框架来理解环境风险,而政府管理者却多使用技术导向的相关框架对公众实施风险传播,由此导致传播效果的受限.本研究利用舆情分析工具,对2016年4月间发生的"地下水八成不能饮用"网络舆情事件进行信息数据采集,并通过对信息文本进行框架分析,描述社会公众和政府管理者在舆情风险信息传播中所使用框架的差异,并在此基础上提出包括传播目标设定、传播方法优化和传播效果拓展等在内的相应的环境风险传播策略.  相似文献

随着以人工智能技术为代表的互联网时代到来,社交媒体带给用户便利的同时,也带来了过度连接的重负,在为了连接穷尽想象后,用户开始寻求“解脱”。Z世代群体作为社交平台使用主力军,在数字过度连接下,一部分受众开始选择不去使用或间歇性摇摆使用社交平台,通过适当的数字断连以减轻媒介信息过载所带来的焦虑与依赖。抵抗技术,正在成为算法时代的一种反向潮流。本文基于感知过载理论和传播仪式观理论,以豆瓣“反技术依赖”和“数字极简主义”小组为样本,探究Z世代群体在社交平台中进行“仪式化”数字断连的动因及其重塑的意义价值,对寻求合理数字断连路径具有启发性意义。  相似文献

人口老龄化使得媒体对老年群体的关注达到了一个前所未有的高度,如何应对白发浪潮一时成为焦点.本文通过对中国传统老年观的分析,探求中国文化对老年受众群体的影响,并结合典型古代老年媒介形象,分析处于当代复杂传播环境下中国老年受众的媒介诉求,研究新媒体在服务老年群体中的应用.在历史沿革中,老年人与媒介的关系在不断地变革与发展着,中国传统文化的烙印却不曾减淡,影响着从古至今以老年受众为对象的传播活动.在传播技术飞速发展的今天,传统的传播方式已经不能满足中国老年群体的媒介诉求,新媒体的介入带来了新的变化与机遇.  相似文献

针对老年群体越来越多地接触和使用新兴传播媒介的现象,以淮安市Y镇为例,对当地老年人的媒介使用偏好进行调查。从多维角度对调查结果进行分析发现,在当前乡村文化振兴战略大背景下,老年群体存在过度依赖手机媒介、缺乏新媒介素养等问题,并提出应对未来老年人信息媒介传播的对策,进一步更好地满足老年群体的精神需求,增强社会的稳定性和精神文明程度。  相似文献

基于框架理论和内容分析研究方法,本文对突发公共事件中的官方话语空间和民间话语空间进行了框架使用的对比分析研究。研究发现双重话语之间框架的使用有很大差异。官方话语的报道框架比较平衡,重点突出事件的认定以及积极救援;而民间话语的框架相对松散,其中社会情绪框架占主导地位。同时通过对民间话语进行主题分析,本研究发现民间话语极为丰富,不但讨论事件本身,还会启动对其它话题的思考。重要的是,网友开始更主动地提供信息、净化民间话语空间中的流言,不断走向成熟,而这必然"倒逼"官方话语体制做出相应的改革。  相似文献

本文主要研究跨地域文化群体在跨文化传播过程中的媒介使用情况,以及不同媒介对信息传播产生的影响。调查发现,来自不同文化圈的受访者在获取和传播文化信息时,受到熟悉程度的影响,在传播"本文化"与"他文化"时会选用具有明显差异的传播媒介。而大众传播媒介的使用在信息传播过程中带来的"拟态环境"效应,使分属于不同文化群体的个体在获取有效信息时受到象征性现实的影响。  相似文献

党的十九大报告提出"老有所养""加快老龄事业和产业发展"的要求。在信息化时代为老年人提供各类特色服务,已经成为我国应对人口老龄化问题的重点工作。但老年群体在获取网络信息、使用信息科技能力上相对落后,在利用数字资源参与公共生活方面明显存在差距。如何弥合"银色数字鸿沟"以提升老年人生活质量已成为重要议题。本文系统梳理国内外学界对银色数字鸿沟现象的实证研究和适用理论,得出微观与宏观、个人与社会相结合的理论视角,从技术、个体和社会文化三个层面理解银色数字鸿沟形成的主要因素。基于银色数字鸿沟的形成因素,本文分别从打造新媒体个性化服务、发挥老年群体主体作用、建立社会支持网络三个方面提出弥合银色数字鸿沟的具体建议。  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The online environment has radically changed the way in which users consume, discover and manipulate news. The growing relevance of social media platforms and digital intermediaries for news sharing and consumption increase the likelihood of citizens to be exposed to online news even when they are not seeking it. This digital transformation fundamentally challenges the way online news use and exposure have been conceptualized and measured, affecting also to citizens’ knowledge about public affairs and politics. This article examines the factors that predict the probability to be an “incidentally exposed news user” online. Specifically, based on a representative US sample from the Pew Research Centre, this study analyses the role of media preference, use and trust. Findings indicate that beyond users’ demographics and loyalty, readers’ news preferences, uses and trust, specially of social media platforms, affect their probability to be incidentally exposed to news online. These results have important empirical and theoretical implications for understanding the connection between readers’ news consumption patterns and online exposure, intentional or incidental.  相似文献

Driven by ‘success stories’ reported by private sector firms, government agencies have also started adopting various Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies in diverse domains (e.g. health, taxation, and education); however, extensive research is required in order to exploit the full potential of AI in the public sector, and leverage various AI technologies to address important problems/needs. This paper makes a contribution in this direction: it presents a novel approach, as well as the architecture of an ICT platform supporting it, for the advanced exploitation of a specific AI technology, namely chatbots, in the public sector in order to address a crucial issue: the improvement of communication between government and citizens (which has for long time been problematic). The proposed approach builds on natural language processing, machine learning and data mining technologies, and leverages existing data of various forms (such as documents containing legislation and directives, structured data from government agencies' operational systems, social media data, etc.), in order to develop a new digital channel of communication between citizens and government. Making use of appropriately structured and semantically annotated data, this channel enables ‘richer’ and more expressive interaction of citizens with government in everyday language, facilitating and advancing both information seeking and conducting of transactions. Compared to existing digital channels, the proposed approach is appropriate for a wider range of citizens' interactions, with higher levels of complexity, ambiguity and uncertainty. In close co-operation with three Greek government agencies (the Ministry of Finance, a social security organization, and a big local government organization), this approach has been validated through a series of application scenarios.  相似文献

This paper started life in September 2014 as a submission by the International Publishers Association (IPA) to the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights. It is the IPA’s view that human rights and intellectual property rights are not only compatible, but also mutually supportive and interdependent. Copyright in particular, is a success story. It has proven to be a powerful tool to strengthen science and culture, improve participation in them, and provide a legal framework that confers such rights and enables policies to promote them. This is particularly true in the online environment, where copyright laws enable science and culture to prosper, and are giving scientists, creators and publishers new economic ways of exercising their profession, creating the diversity of content and services that a rapidly growing majority of the world’s population is able to participate in. Copyright creates a marketplace that empowers citizens, and reduces the need for government interference with culture and science, a welcome state of affairs, in particular from the human rights perspective.  相似文献

We investigate the ways young children’s use of mobile touchscreen interfaces is both understood and shaped by parents through the production of YouTube videos and discussions in associated comment threads. This analysis expands on, and departs from, theories of parental mediation, which have traditionally been framed through a media effects approach in analyzing how parents regulate their children’s use of broadcast media, such as television, within family life. We move beyond the limitations of an effects framing through more culturally and materially oriented theoretical lenses of mediation, considering the role mobile interfaces now play in the lives of infants through analysis of the ways parents intermediate between domestic spaces and networked publics.

We propose the concept of intermediation, which builds on insights from critical interface studies as well as cultural industries literature to help account for these expanded aspects of digital parenting. Here, parents are not simply moderating children’s media use within the home, but instead operating as an intermediary in contributing to online representations and discourses of children’s digital culture. This intermediary role of parents engages with ideological tensions in locating notions of “naturalness:” the iPad’s gestural interface or the child’s digital dexterity.  相似文献

This paper contributes to e-government research by presenting a review and discussion on how digitalization of public services has affected the interaction between citizens and government. We argue for a conceptualization and critical reflection on the nature of the underlying interaction between citizens and public officials - the public encounter - that digital public services are developed to support. We apply a qualitative and hermeneutic approach and illustrate that digital public services change public encounters concerning when, where, and how interactions occur, what each actor does, and the skills required of them. By relating these changes to emerging digital technologies (e.g. data mining, machine learning, sensor technology, and service automation), we illustrate that while these new technologies carry the potential to further digitalize service provision and fulfill the democratic goals of digital government, authorities can apply the same technology to restrict, control, and surveil citizens. Based on a critical discussion on what digitalization might entail for society, we identify problem areas arising from this development and propose a research agenda for understanding this phenomenon further. We raise questions and ethical concerns regarding accountability and reskilling of citizens and public officials as public service provision becomes citizen self-service.  相似文献
