中外青少年科技竞赛激励机制的比较研究——基于促进科技创新后备人才选拔和培养的视角

如何改进和完善青少年科技竞赛激励机制,促使科技竞赛真正成为选拔和培养科技创新后备人才的重要途径,值得社会各界和教育研究者不断探索和研究。本文基于竞赛激励机制方面的相关理论,建构国内青少年科技竞赛项目与国外竞赛项目的比较框架,提出改进我国青少年科技竞赛激励机制的建议(:1)减少国内青少年科技竞赛项目的最高等级奖项配置比例;(2)对各省参加全国青少年科技创新大赛决赛名额的分配采取"基数"加"增长"的方式;(3)对获奖学生的指导教师和积极组织参与科技竞赛活动的学校给予表彰和奖励,创设激励多方(学校、教师、学生及家长)共同参与青少年科技竞赛的机制,是促使青少年科技竞赛持续稳定发展的重要举措。     

舞动的机器人

近几年来，中国青少年科技创新奖机器人竞赛如火如荼，迄今已举办了六届。青少年机器人竞赛旨在培养青少年创新精神和实践能力，选拔和培养优秀的科技后备人才：奖励具有科学研究潜质的优秀青少年人才，鼓励青少年立志投身于科学技术研究事业以及培养学生探究能力，通过比赛，选拔出对科学有兴趣、立志从事科学研究事业、具有科学潜质的青少年。     

指导学生参加青少年科技创新大赛的一些体会

全国青少年科技创新大赛是一项具有20多年历史的全国性青少年科技创新成果和科学探究项目的综合性科技竞赛,是面向在校中小学生开展的具有示范性和导向性的科技教育活动之一,是目前我国中小学进行素质教育的优秀成果集中展示的最高形式。笔者从2008年开始指导学生参赛以来,共获得1项国家级三等奖和3项省级一等奖以及多个地市级的奖励。

比赛之旅

2006年8月3日到7日,第21届全国青少年科技创新大赛在澳门举行。本届大赛的主题是“勇于探索,自主创新”,共有195个优秀科技创新成果竞赛项目,34支代表队,311名优秀青少年选手参加了赛事,同时还邀请了美国、加拿大、日本、韩国、丹麦5个国家的28名青少年与教师参加项目展示。本次大赛共评选出了优秀科技创新项目一等奖68项,二等奖160项、三等奖170项,同时,还评出了各单项奖和其它一些奖项。大赛开始时,正值今年第六号台风登陆澳门,许多原定的安排被迫改变,比赛因此更加紧张。想知道他们有什么独特的经验和感受吗?看看两位选手的讲述你就明白了。

20世纪国际性科技奖励的发展 随着各国科技奖励的发展,一些国际性组织酝酿设立面向全球范围的科技奖励,体现了科学无国界的特点。这些奖励,除了单项奖励外,还有不少综合性奖励,反映了对一些全球性科学问题的关注。笔者通过对一些奖项的分析,认为国际性奖励在形式上有博览会性质的奖励（如1950年在布鲁塞尔设立的尤里卡世界发明博览会金、银、铜奖）,也有一年一度或两年、
