王澍的隶书美学思想

删繁就简三秋树——删除法

所谓“删除”，是指删去文章中不必要的字、词、句、段乃至章节，把哕唆的语句或与中心思想无关的段落修改得简洁、明了。郑燮说“删繁就简三秋树”，主张以最简练的笔墨表现最丰富的内容，以少许胜多许。比如画兰竹易流于枝蔓，应删繁就简，使其如三秋之树，瘦劲秀挺，没有细枝密叶。他阐说的理论主张虽然是针对绘画方面的，但对文章修改也同样适用。清代文学理论家刘熙载说：“纷者整之。”“纷”就是指纷繁杂乱，诸如材料臃肿，思绪混乱，横生枝节，尾大不掉，都在可“整”之列。“整”的结果，便是使文章简洁明快、脉络分明、详略得当。
