mRNA/总RNA与水稻强弱势粒结实率和充实度的关系

通过探讨强、弱势粒结实率和充实度与mRNA/总RNA的关系,分析水稻强势粒和弱势粒结实率和充实度差异的机理,旨在提高水稻结实率和充实度.结果发现：弱势粒中总RNA含量和单粒含量与强势粒差异不大,mRNA、蛋白质含量和单粒含量以及mRNA与总RNA之比低于强势粒.mRNA/总RNA与强弱势粒结实率和充实度一致,mRNA/总RNA低是弱势粒结实率和充实度低的原因.因为mRNA/总RNA排除了籽粒灌浆的稀释作用,反映了水稻籽粒灌浆过程中基因转录活性的高低,与籽粒灌浆趋势一致,所以将其作为库活性的指标是适宜的.

研究了一类具有脉冲输入和稀释的带质粒与不带质粒微生物竞争的恒化器模型．得到了如果脉冲周期小于临界值时,绝灭周期解是稳定的;如果大于临界值,边界周期解是稳定的．最后证明了系统的持久性．     

Noise avoidance in the C57BL/6J mouse

Noise was evaluated as an aversive stimulus in the C57BL/6J mouse, using a simple escape/avoidance procedure in which mice could terminate noise by entering and remaining in a designatedsafe area (corner or side) of a square apparatus. Exposed to pulsed noise of 87.5–90 dB, mice spent 45%–50% of total corner time in the safe corner or approximately 80% of total time in the safe side. Acquisition was significantly faster with moderate intensities of pulsed noise (87.5–90 dB) than it was with high-intensity pulsed noise (100 dB). In comparisons of continuous as opposed to pulsed noise, acquisition was significantly faster with continuous (87.5-dB) noise than it was with pulsed noise, and continuous noise was shown in a choice procedure to be more aversive. Continuous noise caused significant, though not severe, suppression of activity, but pulsed noise caused virtually none. Thus, pulsed noise is a mildly aversive stimuhis for C57BL/6J mice and may have promise for the study of stress-induced behaviors in freely moving animals, but continuous noise is clearly more effective for rapid short-term conditioning.     

玉米素和吲哚乙酸影响水稻结实率与充实度的机理分析

玉米素和吲哚乙酸与水稻强弱势粒胚乳细胞发育、籽粒灌浆及产量形成关系密切：强势粒玉米素含量高峰早、峰值高,促进了胚乳细胞分裂,故强势粒胚乳细胞较多、体积较小;而弱势粒玉米素含量高峰迟、峰值低,吲哚乙酸含量虽然高峰迟,但峰值高,促进了胚乳细胞扩大,故弱势粒胚乳细胞数目较少,但体积较大.强弱势籽粒内源玉米素和吲哚乙酸含量动态与其灌浆强度动态基本一致,于抽穗期喷施玉米素能显著提高杂交水稻两优培九弱势粒的结实率和充实度,从而提高其产量,但对强势粒的结实率和充实度无显著影响.于水稻抽穗期喷施吲哚乙酸对杂交水稻两优培九的强弱势粒结实率和充实度以及产量均无显著影响.     

原粮和成品粮中氟含量的差异

原粮中氟的含量高于成品粮,其差异具有非常显性意义。主要原因是沾染泥土所致。     

荞麦主要农艺性状研究

对10个苦荞收集系的农艺性状进行了研究,结果发现:10个苦荞收集系中,除了TA4和TA14收集系的苦荞总分枝数与株粒数、主茎节数与株粒数呈负相关外,其余收集系的苦荞株高与株粒数、总分枝数与株粒数、主茎节数与株粒数都呈正相关。并且10个苦荞收集系中的TA8与TA15、TA15与TA4收集系的千粒重之间差异不显著,其余收集系的千粒重之间都具有显著差异性。     

塔克拉玛干沙漠西南部两地沙粒形貌分布特征

以巴楚县和岳普湖县两个地方的沙漠沙粒作为研究对象,研究塔克拉玛干沙漠西南的自然沙粒的形貌特征,运用生物显微镜观察测量两个地方沙漠沙粒的形貌分布特征,得到结论：巴楚和岳普湖两个地方的沙漠沙粒以次棱角状沙粒为主,次圆状所占比例少,其他形状如圆状和棱角状很少.说明此两地的沙是风成沙,但是风的作用时间短和作用强度弱.     

Genotypic and environmental variation in cadmium, chromium, arsenic, nickel, and lead concentrations in rice grains

Genotypic and environmental variation in Cd, Cr, As, Ni and Pb concentrations of grains, and the relationships between these heavy metals and Fe, Zn were investigated using 9 rice genotypes grown in 6 locations for two successive years. Significant genotypic variation was detected in the five heavy metal concentrations in grains, indicating the possibility to reduce the concentration of these heavy metals in grains through breeding approach. The environmental effect varied with metal, with Pb and Ni having greater variation than the other three metals. There was significant genotype-environment （location） interaction of the concentrations of all five heavy metals in grains, suggesting the importance of cultivar choice in producing rice with low heavy metal concentrations in grains for a given location. Correlation analysis showed that Cd and As, Cr and Ni, and As and Pb concentrations in rice grains were closely associated, and that Ni concentration in grains was negatively correlated with Zn concentration.

Immunotherapy of intracranial G422 glioblastoma with dendritic cells pulsed with tumor extract or RNA

Objective: To investigate the anti-tumor efficacy of dendritic cell (DC)-based vaccines pulsed with tumor extracts or RNA in a mouse model of intracranial G422 glioblastoma. Methods: Bone marrow-derived DCs were pulsed ex vivo with tumor extracts or RNA. Ninety female mice harboring 4-day-old intracranial G422 glioblastomas and 126 normal mice were treated with three spaced one week apart subcutaneous injections either with PBS, unpulsed DCs, G422 tumor extracts, RNA, DCs pulsed with G422 tumor extracts (DC/extract) or with RNA (DC/RNA). Seven days after the third immunization of normal mice, the spleens of 36 of them were harvested for cytotoxic T lyphocyte (CTL) assays and the others were challenged in the brain with G422 tumor cells. All the treated mice were followed for survival. Some mice brains were removed and examined pathologically when they died. Our results suggest a useful therapeutic strategy against gliomas.
