信息茧房视域下移动知识服务使用影响因素研究

［目的/意义］信息茧房现象的存在,对用户使用移动知识服务具有一定影响,不利于用户对知识的学习与汲取。为探究信息茧房对用户使用移动知识服务的影响,以高校师生为研究对象,研究信息茧房效应下影响移动知识服务的因素,并提出相关建议,旨在为突破信息茧房、完善现有移动知识服务提供参考。［方法/过程］以信息茧房的主要成因为研究变量,构建信息茧房效应下用户使用移动知识服务的影响因素初始模型;利用问卷调查法收集相关数据,对初始模型进行分析检验并建立回归方程。［结果/结论］研究发现,用户特质(如心理动因和个人素养)、服务平台(如算法推荐技术)、信息内容(如内容权威性和有用性)和移动环境这4个方面均对用户使用移动知识服务产生影响。其中,用户特质对移动知识服务使用的影响最大;服务平台对移动知识服务使用也产生较大影响;此外,信息内容与移动环境也对移动知识服务具有一定影响。     

How the New Web Generations are Changing Library and Information Services

The new Web generations are influencing the minds and changing the habits of software developers and end users. Users, librarians, and information services professionals can interact more efficiently, creating additional information and content and generating knowledge. This new scenario is also changing the behavior of information providers and users in health sciences libraries. This article reviews the new Web environments and tools that give librarians opportunities to tailor their services better, and gives some examples of the advantages and disadvantages for them and their users. Librarians need to adapt to the new mindset of users, linking new technologies, information, and people.     

基于信息交互的集成服务平台构建分析

针对信息服务平台构建中存在的问题,分析信息集成服务平台构建与信息交互之间的关系,指出集成服务平台构建需要关注信息交互,分析集成服务平台构建中的信息交互层次,从用户、系统及其内容三个视角以及信息内容、系统界面、资源组织、互动功能、信息整合等五个层面讨论信息交互设计,在此基础上提出基于信息交互的集成服务平台构建模型。     

构筑知识基础结构的关键技术

知识经济和信息技术的发展正在改变信息服务业的基础结构, 本文通过对“后数字图书馆”、美国科学基金会的“先进计算网络基础结构”计划(NSF-ACP)发展动向和基本思想的研究,认为从信息基础结构向知识基础结构转变是21世纪发展知识型信息服务业的必然选择。论文论述了构建知识基础结构的基本框架,对网格、Web Services、知识组织系统、科研网络协同环境、个性化信息服务等构建知识基础结构的关键技术做了探讨。

政府信息资源公益性开发服务是政府服务的主要内容之一。我国已有的信息政策从设计到执行均存在不同程度的偏差。主要问题是:政策设计存在盲点,政策内容冲突,政策手段单一。政府信息资源公益性开发服务政策设计的理想思想是:在梳理和消除有关政策内容冲突的基础上,进一步扩大政府信息开放,逐步形成由纯公益主体、制度公益主体和营利组织并存的复合型政府信息资源公益开发服务模式。     

国外公共图书馆健康信息服务研究进展

国外公共图书馆健康信息服务研究的内容主要包括:公共图书馆的角色和作用、实证研究、健康馆藏资源建设、参考咨询、对特殊群体的延伸服务、馆员培训及与其他机构的合作。而我国在这一领域的研究与国外相比存在着一定的差距,如研究历史较短,文献数量较少,研究内容较为单一,实证调查少,理论探讨多。公共图书馆如何为弱势群体提供健康信息服务,对某一地区公共图书馆健康信息服务情况进行较大规模的调查等,都是我国未来研究的发展趋势。

概述教育的国际化趋势;分析教育国际化将推动图书馆的国际化进程：教育国际化带来新的信息需求,并要求图书馆完善相关的国际化服务,如拓展馆藏资源,开设国内信息资源输出的国际接口和提供专门的留学信息服务;提出图书馆应从服务意识、服务对象、服务人员、服务内容和国际合作五方面实现国际化,为教育国际化的发展创造更好的信息服务平台。     

移动图书馆的实践与展望——以重庆大学图书馆为例

移动图书馆是数字图书馆在3G时代的发展方向之一。重庆大学移动图书馆可以分别为注册用户及非注册用户提供服务,如为用户提供短信服务、WAP服务和信息推送服务等。通过重庆大学移动图书馆的实践发现,移动图书馆存在短信服务易受外部条件制约、多媒体资源利用不充分、针对不同移动终端的应用程序开发不足等问题。移动图书馆应结合3G技术开展移动阅读服务,建设移动的知识社区,完善各种类型的移动图书馆应用程序,以更好地为读者提供服务。     

Supporting self-evaluation in local government via Knowledge Discovery and Data mining

The business sector has already recognized the importance of information flow for good management, with many businesses adopting new technology in data mining and data warehousing for intelligent operation based on free flow of information. Free flow of information in government agencies is just as important. For example, in child welfare, entities that fund social services programs have increasingly demanded improved outcomes for clients in return for continued financial support. To this end, most child welfare agencies are paying more attention to the outcomes of children in their care. In North Carolina, many county departments of social services have successfully adopted the self-evaluation model to monitor the effects of their programs on the outcomes of children. Such efforts in self-evaluation require good information flow from state division of social services to county departments of social services. In this paper, we propose a comprehensive KDD (Knowledge Discovery and Data mining) information system that could upgrade information flow in government agencies. We present the key elements of the information system and demonstrate how such a system could be successfully implemented via a case study in North Carolina. The next generation infrastructure in digital government must incorporate such information system to enable effective information flow in government agencies without compromising individual privacy.     

公共服务中的图书馆服务

公共服务是图书馆服务的根本属性。作为公共服务重要组成部分的图书馆服务应体现以下基本原则:公平原则、公益性原则、无差别原则、适度原则、资源与服务的共享原则、不断发展原则。公共图书馆要处理好现代数字化信息服务与传统的实体文献借阅服务的关系,处理好大众性的一般借阅和各种形式的文献信息提供服务与参考咨询等专业化水平较高的服务的关系。在为公众提供基本的公共服务的同时,不能放弃图书馆服务能力不断提高的机会。参考文献8。     

高校图书馆校友信息服务探讨

毕业校友的信息服务是高校图书馆服务的新内容。目前,高校图书馆存在校友服务工作滞后、校友信息服务水平较低、校友信息服务欠缺主动性等问题。开展校友后续服务是图书馆发展的内在要求,是以人为本的服务理念的体现,是提升学校凝聚力的有效途径。图书馆应提供以数字资源为主的服务信息;建立读者信用评估体系;建立专业馆员服务机制;建立校友会,加强对校友的组织管理;强化服务意识,提升服务水平。     

The medical libraries of Vietnam--a service in transition.

The medical libraries of Vietnam maintain high profiles within their institutions and are recognized by health care professionals and administrators as an important part of the health care system. Despite the multitude of problems in providing even a minimal level of medical library services, librarians, clinicians, and researchers nevertheless are determined that enhanced services be made available. Currently, services can be described as basic and unsophisticated, yet viable and surprisingly well organized. The lack of hard western currency required to buy materials and the lack of library technology will be major obstacles to improving information services. Vietnam, like many developing nations, is about to enter a period of technological upheaval, which ultimately will result in a transition from the traditional library limited by walls to a national resource that will rely increasingly on electronic access to international knowledge networks. Technology such as CD-ROM, Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN), and satellite telecommunication networks such as Internet can provide the technical backbone to provide access to remote and widely distributed electronic databases to support the information needs of the health care community. Over the long term, access to such databases likely will be cost-effective, in contrast to the assuredly astronomical cost of building a comparable domestic print collection. The advent of new, low-cost electronic technologies probably will revolutionize health care information services in developing nations. However, for the immediate future, the medical libraries of Vietnam will require ongoing sustained support from the international community, so that minimal levels of resources will be available to support the information needs of the health care community. It is remarkable, and a credit to the determination of Vietnam's librarians that, in a country with a legacy of war, economic deprivation, and international isolation, they have somehow managed to provide a sound basic level of information services for health care professionals.

我国公共图书馆基本服务的发展态势与路径选择

公共图书馆基本服务就是利用各类文献信息资源,保障和满足公众基本文化需求的公益服务行为。它具有公益性、均等性、基本性、便利性、阶段性、区域性等特征,主要包括文献资料借阅服务、咨询与信息服务、读者活动服务和基层服务。目前,我国公共图书馆基本服务呈现区域间非均衡发展、城乡间差序发展、阶层间非均等享受等发展态势。要实现普遍均等的公共图书馆基本服务,必须借鉴国外经验,建立起制度保障体系、经费保障机制、集中管理模式以及效益评估体系。     

Hybrid gatekeeping framework for value-added information services

Information control processes designed to prioritize the most relevant information are important for enhancing the service experience of users. Gatekeeping is the process of filtering and disseminating information in online information services. This study investigates the effects of gatekeeping activities on information services and the resulting impact on the value of such services from a user's perspective in an information service environment characterized by online and offline transactions. Various hybrid gatekeeping activities are derived through focus group interviews with information services planners. A survey of information service users reveals values that could be obtained from the information services. The results of these two data gathering tools suggest an information service framework for hybrid environments. The findings enable the development of value-added information services for users through efficient information control in hybrid online and offline environments.     

JSIS: An Iranian specialized information center

As one of the leading governmental information services, JSIS (Jahad Sazandegi Scientific Information Services) started its activities in August 1993 in order to provide information support for approximately 60 research and education centers of the Ministry of Jahad Sazandegi. The present article describes JSIS's various activities such as technical services, document delivery services, electronic referral services, current awareness, and networking services.
