本文从德国功能理论的译文目的论出发,针对儿童文学的基本特征,对Alice's Adventures in Wonderland的两个译本进行对比分析,探讨在翻译的过程中为达到译文的目的译者所要采取的一些翻译策略.目的论把目的读者放在了首要的位置,实现译文在译语文化中的被接受、被认可,这在指导儿童文学的翻译是一大进步.

试论教师跨文化意识在英语翻译教学中的运用

传统的翻译教学注重语言转换的训练,忽视跨文化意识在翻译教学中的作用,故而教学效果不佳。教师要改变这一状况,就必须改变传统的教学观念,将翻译教学纳入到跨文化交流的大框架中;就必须培养自身的跨文化意识,将跨文化意识运用到英语翻译教学中。只有这样,学生才能真正地掌握翻译技能,提高翻译水平。
