利于专业化众创空间可持续发展的商业模式探索

近年来，以低成本、便利化、全要素、开放式为特点的新型创新平台——众创空间快速发展。先对众创空间的起源与内涵作了梳理，并简要分析中国众创空间发展现状和盈利模式。针对国内众创空间盈利困难的问题，探寻可持续发展根源，以理论联系实际，探索一种新的商业模式。以BIOINN生物技术国家专业化众创空间为例，引入国外较为成功的“概念证明中心”功能，结合现有的专业化众创空间运营模式，基于众创空间价值链视角，构建新的商业模式，利于众创空间的自我造血与可持续发展，对其它专业化众创空间提供参考借鉴和对策建议。

国际金融中心成长的理论流派主要有规模经济学、区位经济学及金融产品流动性理论,其成长的动力机制就是回答由哪些力量来推动国际金融中心成长,这也是制定促进国际金融中心成长的政策必须要研究的问题。本文提出了国际金融中心成长的动力机制,认为国际金融中心成长的动力主要有两种拉力(科学技术、经济发展),三种推力(供给因素、历史因素和城市因素),以及地方政府公共政策的作用力。

Career Centers and Needs Assessments: Getting the Information You Need to Increase Your Success

Career Centers are experiencing increasing demands to justify the cost of their services, document the effectiveness of their services, increase their use of technology, and provide a broader range of services. Given the limited personnel and funding associated with most Career Centers, and it can seem like an overwhelming set of demands to respond to. This article explores the use of the needs assessment as a tool to provide evidence of effectiveness, justify costs, and make effective decisions about the services they provide. This article will discuss the benefits of conducting a needs assessment, the process of developing and implementing a needs assessment using an needs assessment project conducted at a small, mid-western University.     

江苏省高校文献采编中心改制及其发展模式转变的设想

随着社会发展和法制的完善,江苏省高校文献采编中心正面临改制的现实,如何在市场竞争中找到一种适合自己发展的经营模式,不仅是采编中心关注的问题,也是江苏省各高校图书馆关注的问题。结合江苏高校图书馆文献保障体系的历史和未来发展,提出了一个借鉴OCLC的改制和发展模式的设想。     

Public Internet Access for Young Children in the Inner City: Evidence to Inform Access Subsidy and Content Regulation

Significant U.S. policy initiatives in the late 1990s were intended to control Internet access, privacy, and indecency--specifically among children. This study reflects on these using quantitative data from a computer center in a children's library in the inner city. Researchers gathered 16 weeks of page requests ( n = 203,647) using "click stream" and behavioral data, and analyzed these using nonparametric tests. Findings show that users are highly influenced by each other and browse only a small universe of sites. Game playing and communicating with individuals (via e-mail and chat) were the most popular uses. Children were uninterested in pornography and sites directed toward children. Advertising was extremely common. Children were most likely to engage in sharing when using games and chat. For this population, access, privacy and indecency initiatives to control Internet use fails to achieve its stated goals, but activities that encourage sharing in public places hold some promise for building computer knowledge.
