作为心学的重要代表人物,王阳明上乘陆氏兄弟“心即理”的先验论,同时提出了“知行合一”的方法论,对心学以及儒学来说都是重要的发展.知与行历来是中国古代哲学所讨论的焦点,是哲学及道德的重要组成部分.“知行合一”论认为求知与实践应同时进行,直接反对朱子学派“先知后行”之说,在宋代后再次提出与理学截然不同的方法论,与“心即理”“致良知”共同构成了阳明学派思想体系基础
