The policy of free secondary vocational education is not only the practical need to enhance the attractiveness of secondary vocational schools,but also the appeal of national vocational education development strategy.Throughout the past decade,the policy has made important contributions in optimizing the education structure,improving the attractiveness of secondary vocational schools and increasing the educational opportunities ofjunior high school graduates.At the same time,it also faces problems such as deviation from the goal of educational equity,limited attraction to students,and reducing the motivation of secondary vocational students to go up the class.Therefore,the follow-up policies need to establish a financial security system led by the government and participated by enterprises;improve the quality of secondary vocational school education and improve the upward mobility opportunities of secondary vocational students.
