高校英语专业写作课程设置与教学构想

摘    要:
高校英语专业写作课程在课程设置与教学实践方面取得了长足的进步,但也存在一些缺陷,制约了学生英语写作能力的提高。在专业方向特色框架下思考英语写作课程教学,可望为突破英语写作能力的瓶颈提供新的途径。课程设置层面,要保障课程开设时间、明确各阶段任务及侧重点、灵活选用教材、彰显专业方向特色;教学实践层面,可从写作训练量、作文评改与反馈、思维能力培养、阅读与写作等方面予以加强。

Reflections on Designing and Teaching English Writing for Undergraduate Majored English

Abstract:
Great progress has been made in designing and teaching English Writing for undergraduate English majors.Some limitations,however, still exist, which are restricting the improvement of learners' English writing ability.Hopefully,it may offer a new approach to the solution of English writing teaching and learning, considering this course within the framework of focusing on the characteristics of course spocialifics.At the level of course designing,the time of course offering,the tasks and focuses arrangement, texthook selection, and speciality characteristics are issues for consideration;at the level of course teaching,the length and frequency of writing practice,composition evaluation and feedback,fostering learners' thinklng,reading and writing, etc. are the focal points.
