| Abstract: | This paper points out that there is distinction from the types and tokens of the theories of grammatical basic unit,proposes that we must ascertain the basic unit of Chinese grammar according the unification of conciseness principle and adequacy principle.It criticizes the theory of phrase basic unit,and advocates that the theory of word and clause dual basic unit is better.It also discusses the relations between the theory of grammatical basic unit and the grammar system,grammar ideas,grammar works,research strategies. |
