| 摘 要： | 高职院校公共英语教学的目标是培养实用能力。笔者通过在少数民族地区高职高专进行公共英语教学的经验，分析高职高专英语教学现状和存在的问题，而针对现今少数民族地区高职院校英语教学模式相对落后的现状，找到适合学生自主学习的教学模式，引出具有实际意义的高职英语教学模式新趋势。

| Abstract: | The goal of higher vocational public English teaching is to cuhivate students＇ practical ability. Combining with the writer＇s experience of higher vocational public English teaching in mi- nority concentrated regions, this paper analyzes the current situa- tion and existing problems of higher vocational English teaching, aiming to find suitable teaching mode for students＇ autonomous learning, and propose new trend for higher vocational English teaching mode. |
