| 摘 要： | 19世纪末20世纪初中国社会发生巨大变化之时,湖广总督张之洞积极响应清政府为了维护衰落的封建统治而发布的"变法"命令,开始了震惊中外视听的"湖北新政"。但"新政"的结果却让张之洞始料不及,与他的初衷截然相反:"新政"中近代化教育和编练新军培养出的具有进步思想的知识分子,最终促使了武昌起义的发生,并推翻了清王朝的封建专制统治,建立了民主共和国。出现这个结果,"湖北新政"所起的作用是巨大的,张之洞在不自觉的情况下推动了历史的进步,他的作用是应该得到肯定的。

| Abstract: | At the turning of the 20 th century,when great changes happened in the society of China,the governor of Hunan,Hubei and Guangdong provinces actively carried out the orders of changing laws which was possible to save the rule of Qing Dynasty,starting＂Hubei New Policy＂which shocked home and abroad.However,the result of the New Policy was completely beyond his expectation,which was completely contrary to his plan.The Intellectuals developed from the new education and new military had advanced thoughts and courage,ending up making the Wuchang Uprising,which ended the rule of Qing Dynasty and set up a republic country.As for the result,＂Hubei New Policy＂played a very important part.Although ZHANG Zhi-dong helped achieve the progress of history by accident,his effect should be admitted by us. |
