摘    要:当代哲学社会科学的新发展使比较教育开始从把“比较”作为学科基本特征的尴尬中解脱出来。结合对比较教育的历史、比较教育研究的实践和它在当代教育发展中的作用的考察,作者揭示出比较教育的若干特征,即视野的国际性、意识的全球性、研究对象的当代性、理论框架的跨学科性、作用的前沿性和理论的流变性与革新性。

Abstract:With the development of modern philosophy and social sciences, comparative education began to be emancipated from the embarrassed position of making"comparison"as its basic characteristics. The author summarizes some characteristics of comparative education by exploring into its history, researching practice and its functions in the development of education. The characteristics of comparative education the author points out are the internationality of its horizon, globalization of its consciousness, contemporariness of its objects, cross-disciplinariness of its research frames, the frontline character of its functions and the changeableness and innovativeness of its theories.
