A Study of the Experience and Enlightenment Drawn from the Cultivation of Innovative and Entrepreneurial Talents in Cambridge University

The cultivation of innovative and entrepreneurial talents is the strategic demand of higher education to adapt to the economic and social development, to construct an innovative country and to build a strong nation with human resources. As a world-class university, Cambridge adheres to the concept of integrating tradition and innovation to establish an innovative and entrepreneurial talent educational system with the curriculum and programme as the core, the entrepreneurial activities and practices as the main grasp, and the innovative network as the driving force, to become a model of innovative and entrepreneurial talent cultivation and training for the universities globally. Colleges and universities in China should further clarify the goals and concepts of innovative and entrepreneurial talent cultivation with the establishment of talents training system and mode which meets the demand of economic need, social development and national strategy, so as to assist the project of "Double first-class" construction.
