商务英语中的冗余结构及其语用功能分析

会计原则要求人们在说话中语言简洁，而商务英语的表达原则更要求语言简练。然而，实际上商务英语文体中却存在着大量的冗余现象，冗余结构并被广泛使用。这似乎与会话原则和商务英语的表达原则相违背，但分析起来其存在却又有其合理性。本文试图对商务英语文体中冗余现象进行分析、归纳，并对冗余结构在商务英语文体中的语用功能进行探讨。

Redundant Expressions in Business English and Its Pragmatical Functions

Prin ciples of converastion require that people us e concise expressions in their communication, a nd business communication princip les also require concise use of languages.Howe ver in business English redubdancy is quite abundant and redundant expressions a re frequently used.All these redun dant expressions seemingly conflict with the p rinciples of conversation and busi ness communication,but we can find a reasonable basis of its existence after mak ing an analysis. This paper first tries to make a classification of redundant ex pressions in business English after an analysis then discuss their pragmatical f unctions in business communication.
