明代北河工部郎中建置考论

北河工部郎中又简称北河郎中,是明代主管天津到济宁段运河的重要水利官员,对辖区内的河工、驿站、治安、夫役起着综合调控的职能。虽然北河郎中的职衔仅为正五品,但因其上联总理河道、漕运都御史、巡河御史,下通兵备河道、管河通判、工部主事等官员,在国家河工与漕运中的地位异常重要。

Langzhong of Beihe ministry of works is also called Beihe Langzhong,who were the important water conservancy officials in charge of the canal from Tianjin to Jining in the Ming Dynasty.They managed the river engineering,post station,public security and labors.They played an important role in the national river engineering and grain transporting due to their wide connections with officials of different levels.
