| Abstract: | Shuyang is in the border region of Jianghuai and Zhongyuan Mandarin in the north of Jiangsu Province. There are entering tones in every towns of Shuyang, but there are obvious differences in the pronunciation and even read crack of entering tone words. The entering tone changes to the level tone on a multiple and complicated level. |
