在我国历史学领域,世界史研究属于起步晚、底子薄的学科,虽说自改革开放以来得以迅速勃兴,但仍然处于初期发展阶段,尚不足与欧美史学界进行直接的对话与交流。但另一方面,随着“全球化”趋势和中国与外界联系的逐渐扩大,世界史研究的重要价值日益凸显,对这一学科之发展方向的选

The Developing Direction of the World History Research in Our Country

In order to promote the substantial development of world history research in our country , we should make efforts in three respects. First, we should lay stress on the combination of historical materials and theory, so as to get a deeper comprehension on historical phenomenon historical laws. Secondly, we should handle dialectically the relations between drawing lessons from the others and blazing new trails, drawing lessons critically from studying fruits of Western historains , and through this , to decide for ourselves to open up the new prospect in academic creation. Thirdly, we should use historical perspective of comparative study to do our academic research, and make comprehensive historical comparison on basis of the specialized achievements, to push the internationalizing process of world history study in China.
