| 摘 要： | 具有反对帝国主义侵略性质的义和团运动在其发展过程中，对于推动中国武术的普及和传承，促进传统武术文化的交流等方面起了重要作用；而义和团运动的失败，则为扩大中国武术与西方的交流，加速武术体育化的过程，促进竞技武术的发展以及改变武术的功能与价值提供了契机。可以说，义和团运动是中国武术发展史上的重要分水岭。
