| 摘 要： | 英语大体分为英式英语和美式英语,是由于人文、地域、自然环境以及历史的不同而产生的根植于同一个母体的两种变体。两者之间存在着包括语法、构词、语音以及使用方式上的很多差别。了解和掌握这些差别,对于学习英语,了解英美文化差异有很大帮助。本文从两种英语差别的起源开始分析,并列举大量事实、词汇、例句加以说明,结合当代英语的发展趋势,阐述英式英语与美式英语之间差别,并根据普遍存在的对于这种差异现象的观点陈述自己的观点。
