| 摘 要： | 国家教委１９８８年颁布的“全国普通高等学校体育本科专业目录”，确立了《学校体育学》学科在普通高校体育教育专业本科教学计划中的主要课程的地位。这是在总结了我国几十年来体育学科建设经验的基础上，对原《体育理论》学科所作的重大改革与发展。《学校体育学》以研究学校体育教育工作的普遍规律，培养德、智、体全面发展的、从事体育教育和科研工作的中等学校体育教师为对象与目标，力求反映现代科学技术、教育、体育发展的新成果，满足我国学校体育教育的实际需要，在教材内容体系和教材具体内容上作了较大改革。
