“神农氏先祖图腾”考识

红山文化玉雕的典型器中,被玉器鉴藏界惯称之"太阳神"的玉神人雕像,实为误称。参考古文献记载和描述,考证其"牛首人身"的造型,实为远古神农氏部落先祖图腾,应正确命名为"神农氏先祖神像"。

Textual Research to "Totem of Shennongshi Ancestor"

It is believed that the classic jade sculpture discovered in remains of "Hongshan Culture" and traditionally called "Sun God" by jade appreciation and collection circle,is mistakenly identified.According to the ancient extant books and data,it is verified that this jade sculpture in style of "ox-head and human body" is actually our ancestor's totem worshiped by Shennongshi tribe in ancient times.Its right name should be "Deity of Shennongshi Ancestor".
