As to modern English,great and expansive change is taking place while it spreads,which expresses itself in five aspects.The first is globalization,which means people in more and more countries are studying and using English.The second is localization,and it can be reflected through various types of Englishes.The third is multi-polarization,Canadian English and Indian English are just examples.The fourth is sinicization,Chinese English has become an inevitable topic.The last is centralization,which is a general trend of English development.
