| 摘 要： | 我国西部民族地区高等教育经过了五十多年的发展，已经初具规模，但是由于历史、环境、经济和社会的原因，西部民族地区高等教育发展滞后于其它民族地区。本文在探究西部民族地区高等教育存在问题的基础上，提出促进西部少数民族地区高等教育持续快速健康发展的有效对策。
