| 摘 要： | 《珍妮姑娘》是德莱塞典型的一部悲剧,文章塑造了珍妮这一悲剧形象：她善良、可敬,具备种种美德,为了亲人,她牺牲了自己。在这篇文章中,通过分析珍妮的几次重大的人生抉择,指出珍妮的命运主要是由自身性格、社会环境以及作者自身的悲剧意识所决定的,最终揭示了珍妮的悲剧是美国资本主义制度下的必然。 |

| Abstract: | Jennie Gerhardt is Dreiser＇s typical work..This novel narrated a tragic character——Jennie who was a kind,honorable woman with many virtues.She devoted herself to her parents and others.This paper,analyzing the heroine＇s crucial choices of life,points out that the heroine＇s fate is decided by her own character,the social environment and the author＇s awareness of tragedy and concludes that the heroine＇s tragedy is the result of the Capitalism. |
