我国近现代大学与政府关系的特点

我国近代大学出现后,与政府的关系模式大体经历了三个发展阶段:从大学完全依附于政府,到希望摆脱政府的过度控制谋求独立,再到政府希望继续加强对大学的控制,反映了我国的大学办学思想从不成熟到成熟的过程。相比来说,1949年前我国大学与政府的关系比西方国家要紧密得多,这种关系一方面受长期的“政教合一”传统的影响,另一方面也与我国大学的产生与发展背景密切相关。

On the relationship characteristics between the modern university and government in China

Since the appearance of the modern university of China,the relationship between the university and government experiences the three development stages: changing from depending on the government wholly to hope to be independent instead of the over-control of the government,then to continue the control by the university.These respect the school-running ideas of China change from the immature to the mature.Comparably speaking,the relationship between the university and government is more close than the western countries. This kind of relationship,on one hand,influenced by the long traditional "unity of politics and religion",on the other hand,connected closely with the background of the production and development of our universities.
