国外双语教育研究述评:理论、政策、论争、优势、取向及启示

摘    要:对国外双语教育研究进行述评,目的是给予新疆双语教育一个国际视野,并在此基础上提出针对新疆双语教育的一些思考.国外双语教育研究综述为四部分:一是国外双语教育的基础;二是双语教育正方与反方之争,而这关乎理论、政策、心理、语言学等视角的影响;三是大量的实验研究证明,双语儿童相比单语儿童,具有更显著的优势,二语学习能极大地开发儿童学习潜能;四是国外双语教育的取向是,双语教育是一种多元文化象征,实际强化的是国家通用语,目的是提高各民族儿童整体教育水平,从而提高少数民族儿童的竞争力,实现真正的公平.

Abstract:The study on the bilingual education abroad aims to give an international perspective to Chinese bilingualeducation in Xinjiang, and based on this, the paper puts forward some suggestions to the bilingual educationin Xinjiang. The overview is divided into four parts: the first part mainly includes basis of bilingual educationabroad; the second part contains the pros and cons of bilingual education arguments, which concerns thetheory, psychology, linguistic policy, etc; the third comprises a large number of experimental studies which certifythat bilingual children, compared to monolingual children, have more significant advantages and can greatlydevelop learning potentials; the last is concerned with the orientation of bilingual education abroad, i.e. bilingualeducation is a cultural symbol and the national common language is reinforced to improve the overall educationlevel of the minority children so as to enhance the minority children 's competitiveness and realize trueequality.
