越南和平谈判中的中国因素（1968—1973）

本文应用国内外有关越南和平谈判的历史文献,从中国学者的视角,对越南和平谈判期间的中国因素做研究和分析。从1968年5月开始的美越和平谈判几乎从一开始就陷入僵局,其中,不容忽视的一个重要因素是作为越南抗美斗争的主要支持者中国所起的作用。随着1971年7月基辛格秘密访华之后中美关系的实质性改善,中国对美越和平谈判的态度也发生了巨大的变化,实际上从主张以打为主解决越南问题,转向赞同积极进行和平谈判,并力促和谈成功。在中国的说服之下,越南方面终于在美越和平谈判作出必要的让步而最终使和谈得以在1973年初取得成功。

China's Role in the Peace Negotiations Between US and vietnam

This article analyses China' s role in the peace negotiations between US and Vietnam from 1968 to 1973 on the basis of a study of the documents concerned at home and abroad. From the very beginning of the US - Vietnam peace negotiations, it had been very difficult for both sides to reach an agreement. Although the determination of the Vietnamese to defeat the US was the main reason for this, the function of China, the main supporter of Vietnam, should not be neglected. China held a negative attitude towards the negotiations in the early stage and persuaded Vietnam not to compromise easily. China' s attitude during the early stage of the negotiations was caused by the hostility between China and US at that time. Since the secret visit by Dr. Kissinger in July 1971 , the Sino - American relationship has changed deeply and the improvement of the Sino - American relations caused China to adjust its policy towards the US - Vietnam peace negotiations. China began to support the negotiations and tried its best to persuade Vietnam to come to terms with America. Under China' s strong influence, Vietnam compromised in the negotiations at last and the dead lock was broken through in late 1972, which led to the final US - Vietnam peace agreement in early 1973.
