摘    要:欧美作家审美内向化有其社会、思想和审美的深刻根源;作为20世纪的文学主潮,现实主义和现代主义作家的审美视角都表现了这一特点;作家审美视角的内向化,打破了传统文学封闭结构,为文学发展开辟了新的艺术领域,增加了作品的容量和力度。

Abstract:Though a pattern of variety and many voices, the twentieth-century European and American literature presents a trend of rare commonness, that is, the introverted aesthetic view of the writers. This paper is to discuss:the shaping-up of the introverted aesthetic view of European and American writers has its own social, ideological and aesthetic origins; as the main trend of the twentieth century, realism and its writers fully embody this char acteristic;this introverted aesthetic view broke through the traditional pattern of traditional literature, opened up a new artistic field and added capacity and strength to realistic works.
