孝道说略——兼论先秦儒家对中国孝文化的贡献

中国人倡孝、讲孝、崇孝、尽孝,是千百年的传统。孝最初的含义跟＂慎终追远＂的祭祀有关。《诗经》中出现了数量可观、主题比较鲜明的孝亲诗篇。孔子对孝的观念进行了理论提升。孟子继承和发展了孔子的孝论。曾参重孝,是沟通孔孟之道的关键性人物。对先秦孝文化,我们应持基本的肯定态度。

A discussion of the filial duty——on the pre-Qin Confucianists＇contribution to the Chinese filial culture

It is the tradition for thousands of years that we Chinese people advocate,say,worship and do the filial duty.There were a large number of poems about the filial duty in The Book of Songs.Confucius elevated the theory and Mencius carried on and developed Confucius’ theory.Zeng Shen,who laid stress on the filial duty,was the key figure to connect the doctrines of Confucius and Mencius.We should hold a positive attitude to the pre-Qin filial culture.
