论孙中山的民主政治思想及其意义

On Sun Yat-sen's Thought of Democratic Politics and Its Significance

In modern history China was in constant invasion by the Great Powers.As a resulf,great changes took place in her social economy and political structure. With the gradual influence of the Western learning to (China),people's ideology changed correspondingly.People began to accept Western implements and then they reflected upon the different systems between the West and East.It's Sun Yat-sen who first applied Western political system indiscriminately.He took the theory of democratic politics of the West as a basis,held high the banner of the Three Principles of the People,led people to overthrow the monarchy,and built up bourgeois republic system of gorernment."People's sovereign rights" was the core of his ideology of democratic politics.To approach his ideology has a far-reaching historic significance today.
