开源图书馆集成系统技术支持模式分析

开源图书馆集成系统(OS-ILS)在国外图书馆得到大量应用,其具有自行维护、购买支持服务和联盟支持3种技术支持模式,呈现出良好的发展趋势,却极少得到国内图书馆的青睐。我国OS-ILS与国外存在较大差距,主要归因于图书馆经费保障体制的制约、专业技术人才的缺乏、图书馆间技术合作意识的欠缺、商业化IT支持服务的缺失、开源社区力量的不足。我国应采取制定相关政策、推动商业主导的技术支持模式、培养图书馆技术人才等措施,以推动我国开源图书馆集成系统的发展。

Analysis on Technical Support Mode of Open Source Integrated Library System

Open Source Integrated Library System(OS-ILS) is widely used in a large number of libraries at abroad.There are three kinds of technical support mode of OS-ILS in foreign libraries as follows: supported by library itself,supported by commercial IT service companies and supported by library consortia.But the situation is absolutely different in our country,OS-ILS is rarely adopted by libraries in China.Deep-seated reasons include the confinement of the financial security system of libraries,the lack of professional and technical personnel,the lack of awareness of cooperation among libraries,the missing of IT support based on business mode and the powerlessness of the open source community.We should formulate interrelated policy,promote business-led technical support mode,and cultivate technical personnel,in order to promote the development of OS-ILS.
