| Abstract: | The failure in the works Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte is shown in four aspects, including the ending that regards marriage as the end of strive of Jane Eyre; a rebel but she comes to terms with the conventional customs on m arriage; a modern woman with sense of inferiority; an independent woman who gets her happiness by legacy rather than her strive. |
