体育是人类文化的重要组成部分。作为一门学科，体育教学与其它课程教学一样，有其固定的教学内容和一定的教学方法。但体育教学又不同于其它课程教学，它具有更广泛的活动空间和独特的教学方式。把“玩”合理地运用到体育教学中，寓教于玩，寓教于乐，是提高体育教学质量的有效手段。
