Sports Management and Its Development in Morth America

In order to make a thorough analysis and study of the advanced experience and methed of sports management majorwith a history of 30years in North American countries in turning out sports management personnel,this paper tried to doresearch into the formation and development of sports management in North America,the establishment of academicorganizations,the publication of academic journals,the current situation of academic research,teaching programs and coursemodels of sports management major,and the conferment of degrees,so as to draw on the experience of these countries andto provide theoretical and practical reference basis for establishing the discipline system of sports management with Chinesecharacteristics and for promoting the development of sports managenent major.
