| 摘 要： | 文章从五大方面针对2000年版《汉英双解新华字典》提出了一些批评和建议。这五个方面是：翻译错误、翻译不当或不足、译文粗拙、拼写或语法错误、译文体例有瑕疵等。文章还对出现这些现象的原因进行了分析,最后提出对翻译界现状的一些想法。

| Abstract: | This article conducts a sample investigation on the English translation version of ＂Xinhua Dictionary with English Translation（2000）＂ with comments in five aspects： its translation mistakes,the inadequate translation,the rough translation,the misspellings and grammatical mistakes,and the inconsistent stylistic rules.Also provided in the article is an analysis of the causes of the mistakes,followed by the author＇s reflections on the status quo of the translation art. |
