Design and development of network courseware for chemical reaction engineering

The chemical reaction engineering is the core curriculum of the chemical engineering, according to the requirements of teaching program; computer network technology was used to develop the network courseware of chemical reaction engineering. Text, images, sound, animation and video was applied to the network courseware, which provides students with abundant teaching materials, the difficulty and abstract content, which is hard to express in words, was vividly illustrated. This paper discusses the significance of the development of network courseware for chemical reaction engineering, and the methods, characteristics and applications of network courseware.
