| 摘 要： | 本文运用元话语和话轮转换的基本概念和理论,分析了英语话轮转换中元话语的选择。文章认为,元话语在话轮转换中的使用不同于书面语,尽管元话语的运用并不丰富,但对会话语境的构建、谈话对象间的互动、话轮的持续或转换等有着积极作用,为监测言语进程的动态发展提供了新的研究视角。

| Abstract: | The thesis presents an analysis about the options of metadiscourse in English turn-- taking with the basic concepts and theory of metadiscourse and turn--taking. The conclusion is that the metadiscourse in English turn--taking is different from that in written English. In turn-- taking, the metadiscourse is not varied, but it contributes to the construction of discourse context, the interaction of speakers and the continuation and maintenance of turns. The study of metadiscourse provides a new perspective for the observation of the dynamic progress of speech. |
