On the Creation and Influence of Shen Qianyun

Shen Qianyun was an important poet during the flouring poetry age in Tang Dynasty. His old style poem, which by the scholars, form a unique prevailing kind of poetry style at that time. This essay just tries to evaluate his important influence on the creation of verse at the early of Min-Tang Dynasty from two fields, which includes all his life and creation, his art achievements and effect of his creation, by putting him in the poetry change from the flourishing to the Mid-Tang period.
