| Abstract: | Cultivation of good learning habits is of much essence to English language novices. Therefore , the author tries to propose some novel ideas and thoughts about cultivating good learning habits of English language novices. He states that the cultivation of good learning habits goes through three stages; 1. the stage of good habits selected. accepted and imitated, 2. the stage of good habit consolidation and reinforcement, 3. The stage of good habit automaticity, transfer and development. He tries to reveal the general laws of cultivating good habits of English language learning and acquisition for English language novices. |
