| 摘 要： | 办学特色是一所高校的特质所在,地方院校要突破趋同性,在激烈的竞争中脱颖而出,须走特色发展的道路.本文阐述了办学特色的内涵、影响因素等,分析了佛山科学技术学院形成"立足地方,服务地方,大力培养高素质应用型人才"办学特色的探索过程,并就地方院校如何培育、总结特色提出两点建议:一是实事求是地认识自己,研究自己,定好位,彰显办学特色;二是创新人才培养模式,培养面向基层、"一专多能"的应用型专门人才.
