美国研究型大学商业化现象分析

摘    要:美国研究型大学向来有其本土特色——为社会服务。近年来美国的研究型大学在功能上,作用上发生了很大的变化。随着市场经济的发展,研究型大学过于积极地调整自己以服务于不断变化的商业利益,轻视传统基础科学的研究,而转向应用科学研究。考虑到美国研究型大学的发展对全球教育有着深远的影响,所以研究他的商业化进程发展的原因,及其利弊,对当今市场经济条件下的我国高教改革有着重大的意义。

Abstract:American research universities always have its local character- to serve the community. However, in recent years, the research universities have changed their function. With the development of market economy, research universities adjust themselves to serve the ever-changing business interests, neglecting the study of traditional basic science, favoring the study of practical scientific research. Taking into account the far-reachlng impact American research universities exert on the development of global education, to study the reason for the development of the commerce process and its pros and cons has a great significance to China's higher education reform under today's market economy.
