浩瀚夜空里璀璨的双子星座——林纾、庞德翻译对比透视

国内译界对林纾和庞德及其翻译褒贬不一,总的来说贬多褒少。这个现象反映了时下我国译学研究处于一种可怕的状态：仍然拘泥于传统的逻各斯中心主义模式而裹足不前。章参照目前西方主流翻译理念,特别结合我国传统译论,从二的身世着手,对他们所处时代背景、翻译动机、翻译思想等方面做精心的梳理和对比审视,认识到林、庞误译的历史必然性和合理性。并对翻译与政治、翻译与化等关系进行初步探讨。希冀通过林、庞翻译现象的全新对比透视,对新世纪国内译学建设能有所裨益。

The Resplendent Pollux in the Voluminous Welkin --A Contrastive Study of Lin Shu's and Ezra Pound's Translations

Lin Shu and Ezra Pound, two giant translators whom produced marvelous translation works, are depreciated in the eyes of domestic critics except the incredible speed and the patriotism of Lin shu, and the unique status of Pound in the west literature. This phenomenon reflects that Chinese translation studies are still in the orbit of traditional pattern centred Logosism thus hinder further promotion. In light of the perspectives of "cultural school", the thesis carries out a deliberate contrastive study concerning their social and cultural historical backgrounds, motivations and the perspectives about translations as well. More important, this thesis attempts to bestead the construction of Chinese translation theories in the new century via the analysis of the potential significances of Lin Shu's and Pound's translations as well as the relationship between translation and politics, translation and culture, etc.
