| Abstract: | This paper introduces the neo-humanism, traces the formation of Liang Shiqiu's literary idea of neo-humanism as well as the relationship between his literary idea and the translation of The Complete Works of Shakespeare. In his early life Liang Shiqiu advocates the Romanticism, and then he changes to promote the Classicism, that is neo-humanism.
