武术是中国传统民族文化形式的一种，它不仅表现了对中华民族攻防技击的理解和运用，同时还体现了中华民族的思想感情、意志、理想、追求、欣赏习惯、思维特点等各种心理素质和民族文化特点。作为民族文化的一部分，武术体现了中国传统文化中整体思维、刚健有力、重和谐、以家族为本位的文化内涵。
