浅谈大学英语泛读课程的词汇教学

词汇是英语学习的基础,词汇量的大小直接影响到学生听、说、读、写、译等各方面能力的发展。因此,词汇教学也是大学英语泛读教学中的一个重要组成部分。在泛读教学过程中,教师应引导学生通过联想记忆、情景记忆、归纳记忆等方法帮助学生快速高效地记忆单词,扩大词汇量,同时教师在词汇讲解的过程中还应注重文化知识的导入,帮助学生更加深刻透彻地理解文意。

On Vocabulary Teaching in College English Extensive Reading Course

Vocabulary is the basis of English learning and it influences the students’ ability of listening,speaking,reading,writing and translating.Therefore,vocabulary teaching plays an important role in extensive reading.In the process of extensive reading teaching,the teacher should help the students to enlarge the vocabulary and deepen their understanding of the teaching materials through the methods of association memory,situation memory and inductive memory.
